My name Ross Prater. I grew up with Annette in Cedar Bayou Baptist Church in Baytown, Texas. She was always nice and the cutest. She was one year ahead of me. All through high school I would have a crush on her about every six months. Once when a junior I asked her out. We did dinner or miniature golf. When I took her home she let me kiss her goodnight. I didn’t know how to kiss, I was a late bloomer. She didn’t say anything. I’m pretty sure she put me on two lists after that,
1. Do not kiss
2. Prayer list
After we were adults, we both lived in Dallas. We had lunch together several times with our friend Claudia Dahlquist (another childhood friend from church).
We would see each other at church reunions.
She was a wonderful friend. Sending my love to her boys and their families.

Annette was a friend of mine for over 45 years, and she will live in my heart for as long as I walk this earth.
