Annette's obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Annette Ates, a vibrant and joyful soul, who drew her last breath on October 1, 2025. Annette, born on June 23, 1961, brought laughter and joy to everyone around her with her hilarious and lively persona.

Annette was the life of every gathering, her vivacious personality filled any room she entered. She was always the center of attention, not because she demanded it but because her spirit was simply too radiant to ignore. Annette was a genuine partier, someone who truly knew how to live each moment to its fullest.

One of Annette's proudest achievements was marrying her lifetime partner, Paul Boden. Their union demonstrated what true partnership and love look like to everyone who knew them. The love they shared and the life they built together remain an inspiration for all who were fortunate enough to witness it.

Annette is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Paul Boden. She also leaves behind her brother, Calvin Hoy (Kathy), and sister Elta Goosney (Dennis). She was a dedicated Auntie-Mom to Nicole Boden (Sullivan), Jerred Boden (Tamara) and Cale Boden (Stacey). There were few things she loved more than time with her grandchildren Breeze Boden, CJ Palmer (Lexi), Nova Boden, Lux Boden, Bennett Boden, and Sullivan Boden. Annette had the wonderful luck to be able to extend that love to her first great-grandchild, Kylynn Boden.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Annette for the sunshine she brought into our lives and the hearty laughter she shared with us. The world is a bit quieter without her infectious laughter, but her zest for life and love for her family will always be remembered. Rest in peace, beautiful soul.
