Though I only knew Annie through soccer when u coached the girls Tom, Annie was an incredible individual who loved life and was precious to all who met her. I didn’t know Annie but had the pleasure of working with Tom for several years and so many times we would share little stories about our kids and how quickly they grow up. My heart breaks for the Waldman family. I send you strength and support during this difficult time.

Annie was our daughter’s close friend and roommate for the last 2 years. She felt so connected to Annie and loved her so much even though they only knew each other since freshman year in college. We were able to take both girls to a Husker volleyball game this fall. The girls had fun at the game and we enjoyed seeing their special bond. Annie was a wonderful friend to our daughter and I hope she knew how much Catherine cherished her and her friendship. We are lucky to have spent time with Annie and will cherish her in our memories.

Annie was such a beautiful soul. She made me laugh almost every day, and she encouraged everyone around her to stand up for what they believed in, for others, and to do what is right. Whether it was in the classroom or on the cross country course, she was an inspiration, a leader, and full of persistence! I am a better person for having known her. I am so deeply sorry for your tragic loss, and while I know there are no words to ease your pain, please know that Annie lives on in my memory. Praying for all of you ❤️
