Background
Anne fiercely, yet gracefully, fought for greater awareness of Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS). Anne was personally impacted by EDS, but she fought for those beyond herself. She sought improvements in medical care and treatment of EDS, as well as societal acknowledgment of the challenges faced by individuals with EDS.
