Anne Marie O’Neil, a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 76 on October 8, 2025. A lifelong Massachusettsan, daughter to John and Isabelle Hegarty, Anne grew up the 9th child of a classically large Irish-American family of 11, in a 3-bed 1-bath apartment in the Cambridge neighborhood of Agassiz School—what would turn out to be just a few blocks from her future husband, William (Bill) O’Neil.
