Anna “Ganna” Oster West, aged 81, peacefully departed on December 18, 2023, in the early afternoon, with her family by her side. Born in Richmond, Virginia, on April 17, 1942, to Louis and Mae Elias Oster, Anna initially pursued a career as a mortgage loan originator for many years before embracing her artistic flair as a florist, until retirement. In addition to her artistic and crafty side, she had an adoration for poker, good books, bridge, Jeff Gordon, the Braves and the Redskins (pre Ron Rivera). If you ever had the honor of dining with her, Anna’s love language was spoken through food and a hearty glass of merlot.

Anna is survived by her two daughters, Victoria and Karen, her grandchildren, Billy, Kelsi, Codi, Dylan and Michael, and her 9 great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held on January 13th with close family members and friends in attendance, in Anna’s memory.
