It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anna Pettit, who left us on November 1, 2024, wrapping up a well-lived life that began on March 11, 1944. Known for her strength and grace, Anna left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Anna’s life will be celebrated with  viewings on November 7, 2024, at Hess-Miller Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. 

A funeral service in honor of Anna will be conducted at the Linden Hill Cemetery on November 8, 2024, at 10:30 AM. It is here that we will bid our final farewells and lay Anna to rest.

Anna lived a great life, touching her family and friends with her generosity, vibrant personality and love of the Mets. Her departure leaves a void that will not be easily filled, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. We invite all who knew and loved Anna to join us in celebrating her life and saying goodbye.
