Ann's obituary
She was fourth of six children, born Oct 2nd, 1930 in the Bavarian town of Knetzgau, to Elizabeth and Johann. She emigrated to the USA in 1952, settled in Chicago and became a US citizen in 1962.
Ann connected to her German heritage with her active membership in the Edelweiss Chicago German Club and the German American Social Club in Cape Coral, Florida.
Survived by husband of 54 years, Gerhard Meyer, her two children Art Heppner (w. Monika) and Andrea Meyer and sister Helene (Lene) Steiger (h. Horst s. David) and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends near and far, here in the US as well as Germany.
As per Ann's wishes, there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, Ann's favorite charity was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and any donations there, great or small, would be greatly appreciated. https://www.stjudes.org
