Lydia’s was a unique and lovely person! Our Knit Wit group enjoyed her immensely. She was one of a kind. She shared her story of her life with us and entertained us with her stories and adventures.
So sorry for your loss and I extent my sympathy to her family❤️
It was truly an honor to get to visit with Lydia during her final chapter. The many memories she shared will certainly stay with me along with her positive outlook at life. We were never at a loss of words, her life stories and our shared interests kept the conversations flowing. While, I never met any of her family, I heard how proud she was and how much love she felt. I would leave our visit in amazement every time. What a life she had. I miss you Lydia.
My Beautiful dear Friend! I was just the cleaning lady or so I thought! I loved you so much. What started as just helping my friends mom out turned into so much more. We use to joke about “who needs therapy when we have a cleaning lady”. Year after year every two weeks I would head to Lydia’s and what should’ve taken me 45 mins tops, sometimes 4 hours later I would leave her place. Can’t say much cleaning got done but we talked about everything! We were both very good at talking. I loved listening about her childhood and all her adventures with the peace corps. She truly was an amazing woman and I will miss her deeply! I will always love you Lydia!!
