Anna Kugler (Bonnette)
Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandma, Wife, and Friend
Anna Mary Kugler (Bonnette) of Red Wing, MN, passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on January 26, 1960, in Saint Paul, MN, Anna was a compassionate and dedicated registered nurse for 35 years. She graduated from Woodbury High School and briefly attended the Minnesota College of Art and Design, where she nurtured her love for creativity.
Throughout her life, Anna had a passion for antiques, gardening, art, and music. Her warm heart and genuine spirit touched all who knew her. A devoted wife, and a proud mother and grandmother, Anna will be remembered for her selflessness, kindness, and the unwavering love she gave to her family.
Anna is preceded in death by her father and mother Gerald Bonnette and Theresa (Briol) Bonnette, and her brother Andrew Bonnette. She is survived by her loving husband Magnus Kugler, daughters Sarah (Sinn) Castrejon, Catherinne (Sinn) Cook, and Theresa (Sinn) Arthur, as well as her siblings Gerard Bonnette, Joseph Bonnette, Sarah Bonnette, and Michael Bonnette. Anna’s legacy will also live on through her cherished grandchildren Hector Rosales III, Alejandra Castrejon, Jesse Holm, Odin Cook, Roman Cook, Gabriel Cook, Rose Arthur, Ruby Arthur, and Charles Arthur.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 24th from 2-6 pm at Woodridge Park in Cottage Grove, MN. Located in the Woodridge Building at 9000 90th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016. Please bring a side dish to share, if able. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G Komen Foundation, a favorite charity, or that you attend a local flea market in Anna's honor.
Anna will forever be remembered for her nurturing nature, her sense of humor, and the indelible mark she left on those she loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
