Anna's obituary
- Anna Jean Morningstar Duba, 65, of Lincoln Park MI and North Fort Myers Beach FL (snowbird), passed away on January 27, 2022 after a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer.
Anna was born on January 26, 1957 to Harold Taylor Moringstar and Jeanette Carol Snyder Morningstar in Detroit MI. - After graduating from Redford Union High School in 1975, Anna went on to study Nursing and became an LPN.
After graduation, Anna landed her first job as a nurse for Annapolis Hospital for 23 years, Director of Admissions for Maple Manor and helping insurance claims be decided from home both in Michigan and Florida. Anna worked up until a couple months ago. - Anna met Terry Ray Jacobs, they married and they had Heather LeeAnn Jacobs in 1980. She met and married James Donald Streetman II and they had James Donald Streetman III in 1989. She met and married Timothy Patrick Duba in August of 1995 and together raised Sean Patrick Duba. Tim and Anna would be married 27 years this August and together raised Heather, Sean and James. When Anna had Heather, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. And was to James and Sean as well. She always lived for her granddaughter Natalia daughter of James and Pierina Streetman and I believe our Natie is one of her strongest reasons she fought so hard for so long. She loved being your grandmother Natalia.
- Anna excelled at propping up members of her family, friends and strangers, supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting Heather through difficulty all the while loving her unconditional or James and Pierina through the birth of their daughter Natalia. Supporting and mentoring Sean in his medical care. Having fun with Tim at car shows and getting away. Anna made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Anna was a passionate nurse, mother, wife, friend and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in the hospital working as a dedicated ICU nurse and practicing in car shows, street fairs, cruises and on let's just say mom loved to be on the go. We will miss her greatly.
