Anna's obituary
Anna Delores “Me-Me” Black, beloved grandmother, aunt, sister, neighbor and friend, passed away peacefully in Bourbon County on December 21,2023. Born on October 28, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Joe Willie Black.
Anna dedicated her life to caring for others as a retired home health aid for the state at WEDCO Home Health Agency.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, all her siblings, and all of her children. Despite the profound loss she experienced throughout her life, Anna remained a pillar of strength and love for her family and friends. In her last testament will, she expressed her wish to forgo any funeral services, preferring a simple departure from this world.
Anna's love for her family knew no bounds. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones and held them close to her heart. Her warm and welcoming nature made her a beloved figure in her community. Anna often spoke fondly of her neighbors, praising their kindness and generosity. She would go out of her way to help anyone in need, inviting them into her home with open arms.
Anna's selflessness and compassion were truly remarkable. She touched the lives of many through her work as a home health aide, providing care and support to those who needed it most. Her dedication to her profession was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Anna's love for her family was immeasurable, and she took great pride in each and every one of her loved ones. She cherished her sister-in-laws, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and all of her extended family and friends. Anna wanted to ensure that everyone knew how much she loved and appreciated them, regardless of their legal relationship. She celebrated their accomplishments and held them close to her heart. Her love and support will continue to be felt by all who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life.
