Anna's obituary

Anna Apodaca-Davila

Age 66, of East Chicago, IN and Denver, CO, passed away surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. She is survived by her loving Sons, Joseph E. Apodaca and Estevan L. Apodaca; Step-Children, Dawn Apodaca-Lopez (Joseph), Kelli Apodaca (Enrique), Andrea Apodaca, Elicia Apodaca, and Jose Apodaca (Laurie), Grandchildren, Emma Apodaca, Drina M. Maestas, Jordan Apodaca, Brennen Apodaca, Alyis Gallegos, Ciara Apodaca, Monique Cordova, Alexis Cordova, Deegan Leahy, Aiden Leahy, and Jusinda Apodaca, and 5 Great Grandchildren;  Siblings, Juanita (Gus) Kokotis, Maria Ventura, Leonardo Ventura, Jr., Cynthia Ventura-Lippert, and Robert (Amber) Ventura; Uncles, Aunt and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was God Mother to  Tommy Taylor, Isidro Duran, Victoria Tafoya, Felipe Apodaca and Marisol Garcia.  She was preceded in death by her Husband Lorenzo Davila; Parents, Maria Garcia Ventura and Leonardo L. Ventura, Sr.; and Sister Roselind Tafoya, and Grandson Vandin Apodaca.    

Anna was a 1972 graduate of East Chicago Washington and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder where she played on the Rugby team. She worked at Mountain Bell and retired from Century Link.  Anna enjoyed skydiving, fishing, playing pool, dancing, karaoke, gambling and motorcycles. She adored her grandchildren and spending time with family.  She was loving and caring.  She had an amazing smile and beautiful laugh!

Rosary February 11th 2022, 10:30 am - Mass 11:00am

Burial Mount Olivet Cemetery, 2460 12801 W. 44th Ave. Wheat Ridge CO 80033
February 11th 2022, 1pm

Celebration of Life, Legacy Event Center 9051 Harlan St. Suite #300 Westminster CO 80031
February 11th 2022, 4pm-11:30pm
In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
