I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I remember growing up with many of the Valkenaar kids and Ann was always so kind. She was truly blessed with so many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I am thinking of all of you as you remember your mom and grieve her loss.

I am so heartbroken to hear this! Your Mom was my second Mom in Ripon! She took me under her wing when I was down and missed my own family! She was just always there for me! I will miss her dearly! Ann and I go way back before any kids were born. She lived and loved her children.  I can still hear her laugh. We gave her a baby shower when she was expecting Doug get first we were both expecting at the same time. Doug was born four month before my first.  She abd I were married to brothers. I married the oldest and she married the youngest. Well the day of the shower Ann was the only guest that didn't show up. She was in the hospital having Doug.  The night before I gave birth to my first son we were visiting Ann and David. And I think we laughed the whole night as we munched on popcorn. 
That night a few hours later when we got home I went to the hospital to have my first.  Dont know if the laughter or the popcorn brought it on but we always had fun at picnics and family gatherings. I remember her mom and dad.  Knew her sister too.  She was so outgoing.  There wasn't a mean bone in her body. 
 Rejoicing for Ann as I know she is thrilled to be in the presence of her Savior.  She will be missed.  I know her children have many memories of their times together.   It's been a long time since I've seen Ann but I know we will have eternity to share many things. I have many photos of her and the family.  Deena Hall former sister in law.
