Ann Dorene Spellman beloved wife of Comlin Spellman took her last breath on August 10, 2023. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 1, 1956 to her mother Barbara A. Love. Ann was a force to be reckoned with, and at 5’1” she was as fierce as they come. Regardless of what challenges she faced in life, she maintained an indomitable spirit. Known for her spunk and quick wit, Ann was known to make friends easily. Ann was never afraid to speak her mind and all that loved her knew she’d give them her honest opinion.

Ann is survived by her husband Comlin Spellman; loving sons Leonard Love and Marcus Spellman; grandchildren Merci Spellman and Meric Spellman; sisters Charlotte (Niecey) Love, Constance Johnson-George, and Cindra Hubbard; plus numerous other family and friends.
