I was very sorry to hear that Ann passed away. We have been neighbors for 25 years. Ann was always upbeat. Douglas and Beth Ann, her grandchildren and her beloved dog Lexi were Ann’s world. Ann’s eyes lit up when talking about her family. I will certainly miss our many conversations…

It has saddened me to hear about Ann. Our friendship went back to her meeting Jay and getting ready for their wedding. We practiced dancing in our basement to get ready for the big day. Ann so enjoyed being with my children. She was always up for an adventure and there were many of them. We asked her to be Jonathan's Godmother. I think when she became a Mom was the happiest day of her life. She was a great Mom. When she became pregnant again I remember how she asked if she could possibly love another child like she loved Douglas. She learned that her heart could grow to love another baby. Ron and I were honored when she asked us to be Beth Ann's Godparents. We shared so many happy times. Ann was a great friend. I really admired how she was so faithful to helping others. One particular instance was how she was so devoted to her brother-in-law when he was in hospice. She was a gift to so many people. The videos that her daughter-in-law posted made me smile when I saw the joy she got to share with her grandchildren.
Thanks for all the wonderful memories Ann. I know you would be laughing if I reminded you of splinters in your butt because you climbed through my window when Stephen looked us out, setting up the same birthday party many times because of the weather, polka lessons with guys that had two left feet, hamsters that couldn't get along etc.

So sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was a wonderful person and lived her family more than anything else. You are all in our prayers and thoughts

Ann welcomed us to the neighborhood as soon as we moved in 26 years ago. Ann would sometimes come over while I was gardening and we talked about everything, but she mostly wanted to share photos of her beautiful Family, especially the grandchildren. She was so proud of them all! On Monday after Beth Ann let me know that Ann had passed, I went outside to clean up a little area. I haven’t seen any butterflies yet this year but wouldn’t you know a beautiful Swallowtail floated down from the direction of Ann’s house and landed on the flower next to me. For me it was a little message from Ann and it was definitely comforting. Fly free Ann, I will miss you!
