This fund has two key purposes:
A Lasting Tribute: Publishing a formal obituary in newspapers like the SF Chronicle, SF Examiner, East Bay Express, and potentially the New York Times (with costs ranging from $850 to $12,000) to celebrate Ann’s extraordinary contributions and inspire future generations.
Her Final Book: Completing her last book on human rights, a culmination of her decades of wisdom, by covering professional editing and production costs.

Ann Fagan Ginger’s life was a beacon of courage. She stood against McCarthyism, worked alongside Martin Luther King Jr., and founded the Meiklejohn Civil Liberties Institute. Her writings have shaped generations of activists and scholars, empowering them to fight for dignity and justice.
