It is with both heavy hearts and a sense of peace that we share the passing of our beloved Ann Christopherson (December 2, 1950 – February 16, 2026).

While we are deeply saddened to lose her, we find comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and is finally at rest. Ann spent her life caring for others as a nurse, but she was happiest when she was in the kitchen cooking for those she loved, enjoying a glass of wine, or simply sitting in the beauty of nature.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Edmound and Joan Christopherson, and her beloved husband, Richard Marquardt.

Ann’s legacy lives on through those who survive her: her two children, Logan (Serena) Marquardt and Lillian (Sean) Killen; and her cherished grandchildren, Miles, Harlow, Simone, Ava, and Ellington, who were the joy of her life.

She is also survived by her three siblings, Jan Charlo, Jeanne Christopherson, and Ian Christopherson. Ann leaves behind her dearly loved in-laws, the Marquardt family, with whom she shared a special and lifelong bond, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In the meantime, we welcome your stories and outreach as we celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ann’s memory to Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette. As a nurse, Ann was a lifelong advocate for healthcare and compassionate care for all.

She leaves a bright light in the many lives she touched.
