Anjie's obituary
Anjeanette "Anjie" White passed away in California on January 20, 2024. She is survived by her son Tyler, residing in southern California, and her daughter Grace currently attending U of O in Eugene. Anjie was a NW native and spent her childhood in Vancouver WA and most of her adult life in Portland OR.
Anjie resided in the Mt Tabor neighborhood, which she referred to has her "spiritual church" with her partner, Tony for over the last decade. Anjie had an eye for design as she rolled up her sleeves and together powered through many major home renovations. She had a keen eye for colors and design that turned every house a comfy beautiful home.
When Anjie was younger she was a frequent concert goer in the "hair band" era and really brought in the 80's and early 90's with a bang. Anjie was capable of reciting any butt rock song imaginable. She then had Tyler when she was 19 , and beautiful Grace 8 years later. Anjie thrived in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, most recently working on the oceanfront in California, watching the sunsets. Anjie had a calmness and peace about her that set the mood for any room. Anjie was quick to laugh and wasn't scared to be goofy!
Anjie set the precedence for love and kindness. Thoughtful and caring for everyone she touched. If you were luckily enough to be in her presence your heart filled up with love and joy. Anjie loved to see the brightest outcome in every situation no matter how bad it might be. She was a very spiritual person that took pride in her health and had passion for self love and keeping life balanced when this world could seem out of control. Anjie loved her children and cherished them immensely. She was a pillar of strength and had the conviction of a lioness.
Anjie's beauty speaks for itself! Her elegance and sophistication will never be replaced.
