I enjoyed many a wonderful smiles and conversations with Anita at the Farmer's Market. She was such a wonderful wealth of knowledge. Her sunshine smile will be greatly missed! 

Awe Mrs. Poarch as I will always call her, she was one of my 1st employers and I was blessed to work for her all the years that got to.  She was very supportive even when I started to go back to school and when I found my next job.  I always remember how she trusted me to manage the store in the evenings and Saturdays. Anytime I was Downtown while she still had the store I always made sure to stop in to say hello.  She was such a wonderful person always willing to help others.  She will always have a special place in everyone’s memories that got the chance to know her.  I know she has one in mine.  I’m sending the family prayers and may you hold on to all those memories as they will be what helps you through this time.

Anita and I worked together for years on the Master Gardener JMG program.  She was a dedicated and highly valued volunteer.  I loved working with her.  She was truly great with the kids.  Kind, gentle, patient and invested in providing a great experience.  I will miss her so much.
