I met Angus halfway through January in 2013, he spotted the book under my arm "A Crown Imperilled" by Raymond Feist. I should note at this point that my americanised smart phone spelt imperilled with one i and americanised with a z something he would have been appalled at. He asked me if I liked heroic fantasy to which I responded absolutely, but my favourite author is Gemmell (David) he produced a fist and I promptly bumped it. We were soon talking regularly each trying to get the grip on the others thoughts about issues and as any friendship goes we differed on many. Always quick to roll one a smoke and me likewise to repay when I could, he helped me get through a very difficult period of my life with his constant chirpy optimism. If Angus had a dollar he'd give you fifty cents, if you were cold he'd wrap his jacket around you, or not wearing one give you the shirt off his back, we both had some really bad times in life drifting away from each other and meeting again, but within minutes of seeing each other after a few months or at most a year and a bit it was like we'd never been out the room that we first met in. He was a sesquipedalian without being too long winded, a raconteur, and a loveable rogue. I would give almost anything to have him here for just two minutes to say goodbye, he was so kind and loyal that for as long as I draw breath I will treasure his memory. I am so sorry for his family and all those outside it who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace mate I love you like a brother. PS Star Trek is better but in a fight Lord Vader for the win.

I have many fond memories of Angus's Childhood growing up with his sister and being friends with my children. I think my favourite childhood memory of Angus is the Payne Rd end of yr concert in which the kids went back to the 50's and absolutely rocked the hall. Angus playing the guitar like a boss when he came out in front of the curtain and the crowd went wild. Was a great night. RIP Angus. It was a rough road to find the peace you were looking for but you'll be OK now. Love to all the Family, thinking of you all today.
