My Dad was lucky to serve alongside Angelo in their artillery battery known as "George/3/11" during the Korean War. During one particularly vicious battle for a hilltop called "Outpost Reno", Angelo earned high praise for loading 50 pound rounds into a howitzer ALL NIGHT without a break.

I was lucky to know Angelo for the past 15 years through the members of the battery. I met Angelo and Darren at Flakowitz Deli and was blown away by Angelo's kindness, generosity and caring. He really did lift up others around him. (The bakery he left for me was out of this world delicious.)

Blessings on the Pirozzi family. You are the best. John Rogers Jr.
