Angelo Pete Mitchell passed peacefully on April 3, 2025. Born June 16, 1952 in Warren, Ohio to Pete and Liberty Mitchell, Angelo received a biology degree from Kent State University before moving on to Fairfield, Ohio; Costa Rica; Austin, Texas; San Marcos, Texas; Marathon, Texas; and Tucson, Arizona.

Angelo was a vital force who deeply loved and honored the earth. He had enormous physical and mental strength and agility and was fiercely independent. He was adventuresome, funny (silly!), gregarious, generous, creative, inventive, musical, artistic, mercurial, and sensual, and he freely expressed all of those qualities and more every day of his life. We who knew him are blessed and will miss him greatly.
