Angelo Collazo (1964–2025)

Angelo Collazo, 61, of Clearwater, Florida died peacefully on December 24, 2025 following complications with his liver and kidneys. Angelo was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 22, 1964 to Isidra Santiago and Angel Collazo, both originally from Puerto Rico.

Angelo attended Aviation High School before joining the Navy in 1981 as an air traffic controller and was stationed in Bermuda. He became a police officer in 1991 near Philadelphia, then worked in trades for the majority of his life to support his rigorous religious volunteerism across Pennsylvania and Florida.

Angelo is survived by his wife Patricia, whom he married in 2006, along with his step-daughter and her fiancé, Madison Ennis and Alex Battista, his son and daughter-in-law, Adriel and Vanessa Collazo, his sister and brother-in-law, Ivette and Wayne Bailey, his parents-in-law, Judi and Lewis Boring, his two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Yvonne and Danny Rydman and Julie and Mark O'Hare, as well as his three nephews, four nieces, and grand-niece.

A public service was held on Saturday, January 10th at the East Largo Congregation in Florida, followed by a private repast for close friends and family.
