When we were kids in Guadalajara, my sister Angelita was my guiding light. One hot summer day, after finishing our chores, we set out to buy ice cream with a few pesos our mother gave us. Angelita, always the adventurous one, decided to take a different route. We wandered through narrow streets until we found a hidden park filled with blooming flowers and a trickling fountain. It felt like our secret garden. Sitting on an old bench, we savored our ice cream and talked about our dreams. Angelita's eyes sparkled with excitement as she described the adventures we would have together. In that moment, I felt an unbreakable bond with her. Angelita taught me to find beauty in small moments and embrace life's adventures. Even now, I carry her spirit with me, remembering the love and joy she brought into my life.
