Charlene L Carpenter was born on March 7 1970, to Sammy and Thelma Carpenter. She departed this world Saturday, March 4, 2023, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Charlene was known and loved by family and friends as Char and to the professional world as Dr. Carpenter. She was a very beautiful and vibrant young woman who had the voice of an angel and a smile to lighten any the whole room. Angelique accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Dr. Charlene Carpenter was a Professor of Business at East Allen University and a former Adjunct Professor at Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She also served as a professor of business for Indiana Institute of Technology, teaching Business Administration, Human Resources, and Consumer Behavior.

Charlene was preceded in death, by her parents, Sammy and Inez Carpenter. At her call to rest, she leaves to mourn her brothers, Charles Carpenter of Lima, Ohio, Sammy Carpenter of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Tommy Carpenter all of Chicago, Illinois. She was beloved by a handful of nieces and nephews along with great nieces.
