It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Angelia "Angie" Edwards, who left us on May 13, 2023. Born on November 2, 1977, Angie graced the world with her warm and outspoken personality. Though she was often known as Angie, she preferred the full beauty and elegance of her given name, Angelia.

Angelia is survived by her loving husband Aaron Edwards; her two sons, Wesley and Jaxon Edwards; her mother, Debra Dubroc;  her brothers , Gary Dubroc(Laurie), Nathan Thomas,  Sisters Emily Dubroc (David) and Tammy Dubroc along with  neices and nephews.  She is predeceased by her daughter, Angel Dubroc, a loss that she held close to her heart , her father Gary Paul Dubroc Sr.  and grandparents William and Quannah Bell Weaver.

Angelia was a proud and accomplished alumna of Bayou Chicot High School, having graduated in 1996. She took immense pleasure in the simple things in life, like enjoying a bowl of pho, sipping sweet tea, or listening to the enchanting melodies of Stevie Nicks. A spirited competitor, she relished in friendly games of rummy and savored quiet moments spent reading and working on puzzles.

Everyone who knew Angelia will remember her affinity for the color green, which always seemed to bring out the warmth in her smile. At her core, Angelia was a devoted mother and wife, whose greatest accomplishments lay in the love and care she showered upon her family.

A memorial service honoring the beautiful life of Angelia Edwards will be held on May 27, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Amiable Baptist Church. As we gather to remember and celebrate Angelia, we know that her memory will live on through the love and stories shared by those who were fortunate to have known her.
