Michele's obituary

Angela “Michele” Talbott, 56, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, June 22nd, surrounded by love and family.

Michele was a strong, witty, and fiercely honest woman who left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Herbert Talbott Jr.; her daughters, Lauren Cario and husband John, and Amber Gillend; and her grandsons, Crew and Cade Cario, who brought her endless joy.

She spent many years working at Lakewood Retirement Community, where her compassion and no-nonsense spirit made her beloved by residents and coworkers alike.

Michele had a deep love for animals — especially her cats and her cherished dog, Nugget — and passed that compassion down to her family. She also had a passion for thrifting, always on the hunt for a hidden gem, a hobby she joyfully shared with her daughters. She loved spending time outdoors, especially gardening, and looked forward to growing sunflowers every summer. Some of her happiest moments were spent by the river and camping, soaking in the peaceful beauty of nature.

Her strength, honesty, and warmth will be missed more than words can express.

A memorial service will be held at Lakewood Retirement Community on July 20th at 5:30pm. The address is: 1900 Lauderdale Drive, Richmond VA 23238.
