Angela's obituary

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Mrs. Angela Scoggins-Murphy, born on January 16, 1971, who left us too soon on March 20, 2025. Everyone who knew Angela will remember her as a person with a big heart, fun to be around, and deeply devoted to her family.

Angela was the proud and loving mother to her children Amber Gauldin (Ed), Justin Murphy, and Ashley Vozzo (Chris). Her greatest joy in life came from being a grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Braedyn, Lilly, Kaleb, Caylee, Grace, Madison, Olivia, Evelyn, Christian, and Amelia. These little ones were her heart's delight, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.

She is survived by her mother, Marie Scoggins, who provided endless love and support during Angela's life. Her brother, Ron Scoggins (Stephanie), and nieces, Raegan, Presley, and Rebekah Scoggins, also survive Angela and will miss her dearly.

Angela was predeceased by her father, Ronald (Neil) Scoggins; her grandparents, Robert Atlee Moore and Barbara Moore; and her aunt and uncle Vickie Dodson and Gary Moore. Their memory continued to guide and inspire her throughout her life.

The lessons Angela imparted on her family and friends, to fight through the pain, hold no grudges, and love with your whole heart, will continue to serve as guiding principles in their lives. Her legacy of love and understanding will forever live in their hearts.

Angela’s passing leaves a void in many lives. However, we take some comfort in knowing that her love will continue to glow in our hearts and guide us. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
