Angel's obituary
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we remember the life of Angel Sanchez, who passed away on March 4 after a difficult and private struggle with mental illness. His passing leaves an immeasurable loss for those who knew him and loved him.
Angel was a devoted father whose greatest passion in life was his children. He cared deeply about being the best father and person he could be for them. His children were the center of his world, and he loved them deeply, always wanting to be present in their lives and to give them the very best of himself.
Those who knew Angel will remember his love for his family and the dedication he had to the people closest to him. Even through life’s challenges, his love for his children remained constant and unwavering. The bond he shared with them is something that will always remain.
Angel is survived by his son, Joseph; his daughters, Topaz and Analisa; and his sister, Alyssia Sanchez, along with other family members and loved ones who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.
While words cannot fully express the sadness of this loss, Angel’s memory lives on in the hearts of his children, his family, and everyone whose life he touched. May he be remembered for the love he carried for his family and the moments shared with those who cared for him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Angel’s memory, to help support others who may be struggling and to continue the work of bringing hope, understanding, and help to those facing mental health challenges.
