Andy's obituary
Andy Joe Page passed away at the age of 73 on May 30, 2025, in Garland, Texas. He was born on May 31, 1952, to Raymond Page and Robbie (Compton) Page.
Andy is survived by his son, Cole Page – his wife Elizabeth, and his daughter Bailey Brinker - her husband Joshua, as well as his grandchildren Violet Page, Victoria Page, Harrison Page, Harvey Page, William Brinker, Lillian Brinker, Emma Brinker, and one more Brinker grandbaby on the way. He is also survived by his brother Danny Page, and sisters, Dora Tweed, and Nancy Motsenbocker.
Andy is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Robbie Page, and his brother, David Ray Page.
His children and grandchildren were the pride of his life. Before he was even diagnosed with cancer the first time, he used to say that he would never live long enough to see his grandchildren…and here we are over two decades later, him having met 7 of them!
Andy was interested in nearly everything under and beyond the sun. A particularly voracious reader, he prized books over nearly every other possession. The topics he engaged with ranged from theology and philosophy to soil quality in different Texan regions. He had a deep love of the state of Texas and baseball.
He adored learning. Because of his faith in Jesus, the only existential crisis he ever had was that he could not in fact read every book ever published.
By fault or by virtue, he taught his children many things. Firstly, that love of God is chief among all things. Second, that our worst offenses and our greatest achievements mean very little when completely given over to Christ. His work on the cross is sufficient.
