Andrew, I haven't heard your voice in so long. I came across this recorded interview (https://ltc.podigee.io/1-netw…) and it's blowing my mind to learn that we're both ENFPs?! Wild! :') Ugh, of course we are. That's why we synch. 💞❤️
Thinking of you and your kind heart today.  Hoping your family, friends and Kayla are getting through the day without too much pain and sadness. You are missed dearly!
Love and Light in Memory of Andrew.....He is deeply missed....forever in our Hearts........
Missing you everyday, but today in particular.

Hi, Andrew! (Hope it's ok to share-mourn here)

I'm feeling the feels listening to some period-specific music. I listened to Rebecca Sugar's song Time Adventure ( https://www.youtube.com/watch… ) for Adventure Time (Cartoon Network, 2010-2018) thinking about you last summer. I don't even know if we've bonded over it but it came out when we were both in college. I'm almost certain you're a loyal fan of the show for its critters, characters, soulfulness, humor, stories, style, etc. It really represents a time in our lives.I'd think of you, Andrew, as I hummed this song on my jogs (I don't wear head phones), taking in nature and the surroundings. I think of you when I greet trees by placing my palm to feel the texture on the trunks. I thought you'd appreciate that.

"Time is an illusion that helps things make senseSo we are always living in the present tenseIt seems unforgiving when a good thing endsBut you and I will always be back then……You and I will always be best friends"

Currently in transit to Boston for a convention, and thinking of Andrew and the fun times we had going to cons together.

I’m shocked and saddened by Andrew’s passing. He and I first met during my phone interview a few years back for my current role at Northwestern Mutual. I was then lucky enough to have him as my manager for my first years here.

As a mentor, Andrew was exceptionally supportive and kind to me throughout the time we worked together. I will be forever grateful for our countless weekly one-on-one meetings where I got to know Andrew as a friend. A truly good person, Andrew was incredibly generous, witty, and always available to have a fun chat about anything.

All of us at Northwestern Mutual are extremely saddened to hear this devastating news. Andrew always brought a fun and happy energy with him. He was a people person and built so many great relationships throughout the organization. He was always willing to help others and take on any new responsibilities.  I enjoyed his company at all the happy hours, team meetings, Milwaukee trips, and Zendesk events. He will truly be missed.

Andrew's friends and colleagues at Northwestern Mutual are just learning about the devastating loss of Andrew today. He was an amazing and relentlessly positive person whom I had the pleasure to work with for most of his time at our company. He was inventive and passionate about the job, but more importantly was great to just shoot the breeze with. I was so impressed by his side projects, his art, and was so happy for him when he was able to secure a Steam release. I'll miss being able to ask him stupid questions about community building and his passions. I...I can only offer my deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Oh my gosh. Andrew was one of my favorite people on earth. Always so kind, funny and smart. I remember hearing him present and thinking, “I need to know this guy.” I’m sure glad I did. His positive influence lives on.

Andrew was a great person whose passing is a huge loss for his friends and family especially, but also the world. What stands out to me was his kindness- Andrew was a great listener and conversationalist who was always encouraging, understanding, and non-judgmental. Always quick to build on a creative idea he inspired me with his steady commitment to making art. He was also a great person to go to for advice be it for work, relationships,  art, or life in general. We kept up our friendship after college, and while I didn't see him often he would always be up to meet when work brought him through the Bay Area or I'd pass through New York on holiday visits home.

One visit in particular probably changed the trajectory of my life: the summer after college graduation when he generously invited our friends Lisa, John, and myself to visit him at the Marble Carving Studio in Vermont. I didn't even know what an artist residency was before that visit, nor what I wanted to do with my art degree, but after visiting him I was inspired to move across the country for an artist residency job in California. And out here I quickly met my fiancé and started a new career and life that I love.

It's funny how path leads to path. I'm grateful to have had my path line up with Andrew's in his life and for all of the good times together. Based on who he was I'm sure many others feel the same way. I'm so sad he's gone from our lives. Rest in Peace.

My condolences to Andrew's family. I first met Andrew when I was at Portainer and he helped to get started with Public speaking and gave me confidence that I can do that. He was my manager and one of the most influential individuals in my life.

While we were both at Shapeways, I briefly hired Andrew for a side hustle to create a 3D model of an eyeball for a medical device idea.  It is such a fond memory, being the skilled 3D modeler that he is, but more so, an absolute gem of a human.  He is kind, patient and so fun to work with. Generous in spirit in every way. Andrew contributed to this world and nothing can take that away.
