Drew bore many scars from the years he spent at war.. He tended to deftly cloak them in suspiciously expensive clothes, which he arranged in particularly smart fashion that was unique to Drew.

Flawed, as are we all, life could be a struggle for him at times. But no struggle ever compromised Drew's compassionate nature with which he treated the people around him. He listened to us with his heart and always gave virtuous advice. Sincere in his willingness to help the people he loved, he was always the best person we all could confide in. In this way he often acted as a glue that prevented the more petty conflicts between countless folks, that were otherwise friends, from pushing each other away.

He believed in forgiveness, sacrifice, peace, and comradery. Drew set a shining example for all of us to follow with his devotion to his loved ones, compassion for ALL people in our shared world, and developing a passion for the things that bring us joy in life. He gave his whole self to us and I, for one, aim to emulate him as the shining beacon of kindness in this world that's so full of war. Our wars that we all suffer from and contribute to simultaneously. Drew knew that conflict, division, fear, and greed are at the heart of the reasons we all harm and get harmed by each other. His life stands as a testament to empathy in a time when so very many of his peers (so many of us) are losing hope fighting day in and day out for so so long now..

After countless good fights that Drew always managed to make it through, on December 1st 2024, the war took him from us. He joins his beloved Ciara, leaving this world in the exact location she did 9 months previous, as well as the ranks of a great army of martyrs who have laid down their young lives at the alter of man's maturation and collective wisdom dedicated to our children hence forth. Just as our "greatest generation" sacrificed so much for the benefit of all of us alive today. For the benefit of all mankind. I do not take them for granted. I will honor them by fostering their wisdom. I will honor Drew everyday In my interactions with all of you.
