Andrew David “Bear” Young, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many, passed away on April 9th, 2024 in Maryville, Tennessee. He was born on April 22nd, 1980 in Tallahassee, Florida to Cynthia Waters and Huey Young. Andrew's life was filled with love for his family, much laughter, and kindness.

He leaves behind his loving wife Elizabeth Young and their four children: Oliver, Arlo, Everett, and Anderson. He is survived by his mother Cynthia Waters (step-father Jerry Ingle), father Huey Young (step-mother Annie Young) and sister Jessica Wells (Paul Dickson) and her children Malachi and Elisabeth Wells along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his wife’s father and mother Ed and Geri Eastley and her sister Erin Pollard and husband Lewis and their six children.

Andrew had an infectious laugh that could brighten anyone's day. He had a knack for telling dad jokes that would have everyone rolling with laughter. He never met a stranger - always making friends wherever he went with ease. He was always willing to lend a hand or offer a listening ear.

A celebration of Andrew's life will be held on May 4th at Blount Community Church at 11am where all are welcome to come together in remembrance of this remarkable man who touched so many lives during his time here on earth.
