Andrew's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew James Bie, aged 65, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL who died peacefully in his home on November 25, 2024. Andy was a loving father, brother and son whose legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his career and personal life.
Born on September 13th, 1959, Andy grew up with a deep love for nature, animals, and the world around him. He could typically be found on the water, fishing with his brothers. His childhood curiosity about the environment evolved into a lifelong career in environmental consulting. Andy worked on numerous high-impact projects aimed at protecting natural habitats and advocating for the preservation of wildlife. Whether rescuing animals through his career or simply enjoying the company of his many pets, he believed in the importance of compassion and kindness toward all living creatures. This was a trait that he passed on to his only daughter, Jessica Bie Telchi.
In addition to his daughter, Jessica, he is survived by his stepson, Wesley Springer, his brothers, Michael Bie, Timothy Bie and Christopher Bie, as well as his nieces, nephews and their families whom he cherished. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Eugene and Marilyn Bie. Andy loved to be surrounded by family and friends and those memories will be held closely by all. An intimate memorial service to celebrate Andy’s life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Big Dog Ranch Rescue where Andy rescued his beloved dog, Kodi. Andy will be deeply missed, but his passion for the environment, love for friends, family, and his animals, will leave an enduring legacy. May he rest in peace.
