Simply put, Andres Cerritos was a good man. I had the good fortune to live in the townhome next to his in Meadow Green. He was a remarkable family man-- a partner in so many ways to his wife, Alma, and an involved and loving father to his children.
I have these great memories of seeing him gather the neighborhood kids to play soccer. Every kid was welcomed, encouraged, taught skills and fair play. My kids have fond memories of growing up in MeadowGreen and he is a large part of that. He was a father-figure to many kids--in particular, mine. I am forever grateful for that. He enriched our lives.

Uncle Alfredo, it is so sad to say goodbye to such a unique person, so full of energy, with so many wonderful memories from my childhood. Thank God we shared special moments, laughter, songs, so many things that will always remain in our minds and hearts. Family, I embrace you and pray that God gives you strength in the face of such a difficult loss.
Dear family, we are with you in this surprising and incredible moment, but we know that our Heavenly Father never acts in error, and that is why we know He will give you the strength that, through the legacy Uncle Alfredo left behind, will be the energy to overcome this trial. Uncle Alfredo, THANK YOU for ALWAYS making me feel YOUR LOVE, for being that being full of that special energy that made us feel loved. We are left with so many memories, and from paradise, all your nephews and nieces will sing like when we were children sitting around you with your guitar... that little chick Yopi ❤❤... your niece Veronica
