Michael, I am so shocked and sad to hear about the loss of Andrea. When I think of my time at Chatfield, some of the things that immediately come to mind for me are Alliance and tennis. Andrea was such a big pillar in both of those groups, and I always looked up to her whether it was out on the courts or in a leadership setting and role. She was always so kind to me and made me feel valued... and that's exactly the legacy I can see she has left beyond high school, college and in her adult life. She defined the meaning of kind and sweet. 

My thoughts are with you during this unbelievably heartbreaking time.

May our lord be with you all in this time, and the many days ahead, as you cherish your memories of Andi...knowing our time on earth is fleetig and we have eternity to look forward to.  Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 73:26 “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.” Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”

I taught Andrea Tennis at Ken Caryl Ranch for a number of years. Her backhand was brilliant just like her Mom. She had a little stubborn streak which is actually a good trait in a player. She would stomp her foot when her serve went long, but it was always accompanied by that sweet little tilt of the head and the cutest smile imaginable. I found Andrea to be curious, kind, and extremely thoughtful. Andrea adopted my home state of Wisconsin professional football team the Green Bay Packers as her favorite. This endeared me to her even more. Andrea possessed a strong spirit that will remain with all of us. I feel honored to have known and had Andrea as a student.
My deepest heart felt Condolences to the family and all those who’s life she touched.
