Andrea Lynn Dunlop McAfee, 53, passed away on 11/30/2021 in Roseville, CA due to complications from metastatic breast cancer.  She is survived by her husband Ian McAfee, her daughters Charley and Stevie-Lynn McAfee, her mother and father Susan and David Dunlop, and her brother Brian Dunlop.

Andrea was fiercely protective of her privacy.  Her death came as a complete surprise to most.  After being diagnosed with stage-4 cancer, she said that she wanted no one to worry, she wanted no one to see her in sickness, and most important, she wanted no pity. 

Andrea managed to do what so many woman try -- to both have a successful career as well as be an active and loving mother and spouse.  She loved and was dedicated to her job as a paralegal, yet still found enough time to care for her family.

Those who knew her always noticed her humor, kindness, and determination.  She touched the lives of many people and always found her way to their hearts.

Her breast cancer was aggressive, and after a slow decline the end came quickly and quietly.  We can all take comfort now that Andrea is now at peace.
