She will be greatly missed! And I pray that the lord brings comfort and peace to family and friends.

When I was young I’d spend a lot of weekends at Aunt Beth’s house. One weekend, When Isaac and I went to Family Video to pick up movies and video games. Drea told us to grab Crash Bandicoot for her to play. Isaac and I never ended up playing the games we picked…we stayed up all night with Drea playing Crash. Of all the countless sleepovers we had, playing Crash with Drea all night stands out. It was never not fun with her.

The next weekend, we did it all over again. We returned the two movies we had rented the weekend before, late. Little did we know, the late movies we returned were put in the opposite VHS boxes. When we got back home, we also realized that one of the movies we returned was a video Drea owned, and the rented video was still with us. We went back to Family Video to tell them everything we did wrong and straightened it out. We laughed the entire walk to and from. With anybody else, I imagine it would have been a lousy time. But with Drea, it was an absurdly hilarious and fun time!

Drea and I didn’t see each other much as adults, but I got a chance to face time with her in June. She told me “I looked exactly the same” which was such a kind thing to say. I felt the same way about her; it was as if no time had passed.

Holidays and family events growing up were always something to look forward to when you had not just a cousin but a friend to spend them with. I’ll never forget all the good times we had. Love and miss your forever, Drea. Rest in Peace.
