I worked with Andre at Emory.  He was kind, compassionate, mild-mannered and quite knowledgeable.   He spoke often of his family with pride and love.  When I was preparing to travel home to Colorado to care for my mother with a new diagnosis of vascular dementia, he made sure I had the tools necessary (and a few extra) to be able to perform my job remotely.  Aside from being a stellar coworker, he was also a beautiful human being and a friend.  His presence is truly missed by me and many others.  I pray for comfort for his family and friends.

We are so sorry for your loss of such a good man. May God comfort you and help you through this difficult time. Andre was a classmate of our oldest son and was liked and respected by all his classmates and their parents.

So sad to learn of Andre's passing.  We graduated high school together in Southampton.  He was well liked by everyone and a standout basketball player.  I am lucky to have called him my friend growing up.  Thanks for your service to our nation.  I cherish the memories and your friendship, rest in peace
