Ana's obituary
Our daughter, Anastacia "Ana" Engler, has passed away at the age of 19 after a difficult, 15-month battle with brain cancer. Ana was diagnosed with glioblastoma at the age of just 17 but she still graduated high school with her friends, enjoyed her noodles and sushi and lived her life the best she could.
Ana was worldly, salty, fierce, kind, and sassy. She loved being smart and hated feet. She loved Harry Potter and hated even numbers. She could sum up her feeling on anything with just two words: lame and swag. She has friends and family all over the country, from California to Massachusetts, Alabama to the UP. Ana is survived by her father, Jason, her adopted mother Leah and her birth mother Elizabeth, her brother Evander, her maternal grandparents Irina, Laurie, Emmet and Leeanne, her paternal grandparents Tammy and David, her aunt Amber and Uncle Bill, cousins Rayah, Tyson, Kallyanna and Matthew, plus many other aunts/uncles/cousins through LeaLeaPoo's side of the family. Ana is predeceased by all her great grandparents. Ana has beautifully loyal and supportive best friends, Chevy, Penny, Ashley and Gabby. They remained by her side throughout Ana's ordeal and were incredibly important and supportive of her.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Ana at the Engler home, 301 E Helena Drive in Phoenix Arizona on Sunday, 7 April (her favorite number) from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
