It’s hard to put into words what Amy Salter meant to so many of us.
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Amy since she first started with PEA, and I’ve watched her grow into not only a strong and capable leader, but also a supportive teammate and genuinely kind, sweet soul. She was the kind of person who made you feel seen, heard, and cared for—no matter how busy the day was.
More recently, when she joined my team directly, I got to see an even deeper side of her—her incredible strength, her quiet determination, and a perseverance that truly inspired us all. Even in the hardest moments, Amy refused to give up. She showed up, gave her all, and left a mark on everyone she worked with.
I only wish we had more time—with Amy, and with each other. I wish we had more days onsite, more laughs, more stories. But the time I did have with her left a lasting impression, and I will carry that with me always.
My heart is with her family and her children. I’m praying for their peace, comfort, and strength as they navigate this loss—and I hope they know just how loved Amy was by all of us.
Rest in peace, Amy. You’ll always be part of our hearts and our team.
