Amy's obituary
Amy’s greatest joy was her family. She preceded her parents in death and was always determined to make them proud. She was such a loving daughter and passed this love onto her own children. Her children were her pride and joy! She was a devoted mother, and was so proud of all her children, and was extremely excited for her first grandchild coming in August.
Anyone who truly knew Amy knew she was a survivor. She had a roller coaster of experiences in her life and persevered through them all. She graduated with her Associates Degree in Psychology from Argosy University and wanted to help those who struggled with addiction. Amy was a recovering addict herself, and had recently graduated from an MRT program, and had big plans for the future. In the past year she had a newfound love for the work she was doing in the community; trying to give back and helping those in need, as well as doing her best to spread her positivity, and knowledge with those who were struggling. Amy strived to spread her love to all those she knew and made sure nobody got left behind. She will be missed by all who knew her and is a spirit that will never be forgotten.
She survived by her Father: Kevin Ostler, her Mother and Stepfather: Tammy & Glen Briggs, her Siblings: Dallin, Summer, Heidi, McCall, Alex, Jennifer, Todd and Karie, and her Children: Marcus, Alyssa, and Talon.
Amy’s memorial service and celebration of life will be held at the Hidden Grove Pavilion at Sugar House Park in Salt Lake City on Sunday June 13th at 2pm.
