Amy's obituary

Amy Sue Baker D’Augustine

September 5, 1969 - October 6, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Sue Baker D’Augustine on October 6, 2024, at the age of 55. Amy, daughter of Richard Baker and Ruth Ann (Ferguson) Baker, grew up in Reedsville, Pennsylvania, graduated from Penn State University in 1991, and served six years in the United States Navy.

Amy married Kevin D’Augustine in 1994 and became the loving step-mother to David D’Augustine (deceased). She was known to her family and friends as a thoughtful, responsible, kind, generous, strong, and compassionate person on whom they could all depend.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ruth Ann Baker and her son, David D’Augustine. Amy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Kevin D’Augustine of Crestview, Florida, her brother Chad Baker of Durham, North Carolina, her sister, Megan (Baker) Yeeles of Walkersville, Maryland, five nieces, three nephews, and one grand-nephew.

Amy will be sorely missed by her family and all those whom she touched with her kindness and generosity. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and will be laid to rest at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, Maryland, next to her son.
