I worked with Ami at IOPTEX.  He was a great guy, and a very talented scientist

Apart from his academic brilliance and his immense contributions to the industry, I would fondly remember Khokha Dada(elder brother) always smiling, highly affectionate wonderful human being... He was a well read person and still remember about his long discussions on Bengali literature or any topic at Calcutta with all of us... He always encouraged and motivated me in the short meets at Taj Bengal, Kolkata.. His culinary skills were amazing.... I salute his fighting spirit and quest for learning... He would continue to inspire me forever in times to come..
