Obituary
On Thursday, December 21, 2023, Amena Rogers, beloved daughter,
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, niece, cousin, and friend,
passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family after an intense battle
against cancer. She was seventy-one. Amena was born to Joan Anthony
& Henry Boozier in Harlem, NY, & raised by her grandparents, Louise &
Theodore Anthony, her mother, Joan, and her stepfather, Willie Yellock.
Amena graduated from John Bowne High School in Queens, NY. Shortly
