Amber's obituary
Amber Ullian was born May 9, 1961 in Providence, Rhode Island to Albert Lawless Amoroso and Mildred Frances Angell of Rhode Island. Amber went home to Jesus on December 15, 2023 in her home in Plainfield, Illinois, with family by her side.
A memorial service was held at Princeton Bible Church, in Princeton, Illinois.
Her remaining family includes her husband, her older sister, and her two daughters, Laurie (Scott) Cowser and their four children, and Sheri (Kris) Fortner and their four children.
Amber had a gift for details and organization. She received her diploma in secretarial skills and excelled in typing and proof-reading. Amber intentionally used these skills while employed as an administrative assistant at a number of local churches over the years, blessing countless people with her preparation for retreats, church conferences, and sermons. She was very passionate about serving in the prayer ministry.
She loved to show her love for the Lord with singing and dancing. She praised God with raised hands, ribbons, and shouts of joy. Amber was an active member of the body of Christ, at different churches, over the decades.
Her interests were playing guitar, writing her own songs, writing her own stories, and playing Scrabble, and rummy, which reminded her of her mother. She loved the Arboretum, and eating at Portillo’s, funny movies, stuffed animals, silly typos, and most of all her family. The Lord blessed her with a life-long friend Sally, who always knew how to make her laugh. She will be missed by many; "Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord." -2 Corinthians 5:8
