Amber was my mentor my first two years of teaching. She was amazing woman. Last summer, when I was going through a difficult time, she always picked up my phone calls and calmed my nerves despite having her own struggles.
Some fond memories I have of her are when my daughter and I helped her set up her classroom last year. She was very meticulous about the way she wanted her wallpaper 🤣. I also remember quickly doing her makeup for a día de los muertos event . She was so giddy about it 🥲🥰
I want her family to know that she was truly an angel on earth, and I am sure she is also an angel in heaven.
May you rest in peace sweet friend. You will be missed by many and will forever have a place in our hearts.

It's difficult to put into words what my aunt meant to me, not only as family, but as a teacher who deeply shaped who I am. During some of the most formative years of my life, she (as well as her lovely family) guided me with wisdom, patience, and profound kindness. She didn’t just teach from a textbook; she taught from the heart, with strength, humor, and compassion. Her home was a place where I felt comforted and encouraged to grow, and her influence still echoes in the choices I make and the values I hold as an adult. Losing her is a heartbreak, but I carry her lessons with me every day. I’m forever grateful for her love, example, and the life she lived with grace and purpose even in times of hardship. She is the single strongest person I have known in my entire life, and I'm so grateful to have known and experienced the light she brought into the world. Love you auntie Amber.

I met Amber early on in Elementary school and we remained good friends until well after high school when life, jobs, and everything else took us in different directions.
I'll never forget the radiating smile, the depth of curiosity, the endless drive. Amber made the world hers and we are all better because she walked amongst us.
May you be taken up by the trees and join with the celestial spark. Turn the energies of the world brighter.
Love always.

Amber and I have had our classes as pen pals for the last several years. I live in NY and we’ve become friends over these years. She shared photos of her new grand baby and was so happy and proud. I’m very, very sorry to learn of her passing and know she was the sweetest, kindest lady. I’ll miss her!

My condolences to Amber's family. I first met Amber when I was 5, she went to school with my brother and his friends, as I was the only girl she would let me come over and play with her. She was there when I need someone to talk to on my teenage years as I had only brothers. When she got married I was honored as she asked me to be one of her bridesmaids, when we got transferred across the country, we kind of lost touch, but she was the best person I know, loving, caring, honest, she loved her family deeply. She will always be loved and missed..
