For those who may read this

I am Virginia Williams.

Alva was a friend.  I worked with her when she had the mother's group for parents with Children who were HIV or had AIDs.  Learned alot from her.  I have been trying to find her and now I know she is resting.

So sorry to hear about her passing.

I met Alva when I was 17 in a help group for those with family members with AIDS. She was so amazing and such a dedicated Mama bear to so many. Miss her forever.

Ah... Cousin Alva Jean... I just learned of your passing. My condolences to your family, friends, and others who love you. Thank you for all your efforts for so many good causes. You made a full life for yourself, and that is a blessing. May you rest in peace.
