I'm So sorry. The family has my heartfelt & sincerest condolences🙏! Al was a lifetime(40 yrs) friend whom I will Always cherish in my heart!  I last spoke with him on my way out of the country 6-wks ago. I telephone him last evening to tell my buddy all about my travels & to check on his rehabilitation.  Obviously,  I  was shocked to discover God had other plans.  I'm just feeling So sad & wishing I had reached out sooner.  However,  I will continue my weekly dialogue with my friend, who is now with our heavenly Father.  God Bless.

I am the daughter of  the late, Faye Houston Hunt who was the daughter of Eugene Houston.  We are so very sorry to hear of Alton’s passing.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.  Alton’s grandfather Hilyoud Houston was my grandfather’s brother.  May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.🙏🏾

Butch was a lifelong friend! He taught me to swim at the Boy’s Club in 1958. The last time I saw him was  July 4th, 2024. But, the last time we spoke was a month ago. He will be missed.💔
